CSE or CE

Dear Friends who are willing to take admission at College of technology, Govind Vallabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar. This is a suggestion from the blogger to you.
If you are a software engineering lover and have got the branch Computer Science and Engineering(CSE) in COT, Pantnagar, DON'T be happy. I repeat don't be happy.It is just because there is no branch named CSE there!!!!!!WTF!!!!!No CSE. Yeah no CSE....
It is actually Computer engineering(CE) which is considered as CSE at the time of admission.
Now What the hell is CE?
There is a big difference between CSE and CE.
CSE is a branch in which you learn programming and other computer skills..in simple words it is software engineering.
Whereas, CE is a branch in which you learn about the working of peripherals and some sort of programming. Simple words Hardware. It actually less computer more electronics.
Moreover, The degree is also of Computer engineering and not Computer Science and Engineering.
So, beware of this thing and check the syllabus of the branch at the site of college of technology, Pantnagar which is http://www.gbpuat-tech.ac.in/.
